Nashville's Early Humans ready 2nd LP

So many great young indie rock/ alt pop bands have come out of Nashville over the years, from Better Off to Sinai Vessel, Free Throw to Pale Lungs, Youth to Benchmarks, Daisyhead to Northstar (RIP), and countless others. However, the latest Nashville born indie / alt pop rock and roll band to be on the look out for is Early Humans, who are gearing up to release their 2nd LP this October. From the sound of the first 2 singles, these guys have really progressed in their songwriting since their debut LP. I first was hooked on this band when I heard their single "What A Waste Pt. 2" released In 2019. When the new single "Tentacles" dropped early this year, I was even more curious as to what these guys had in store for their 2nd outing. And now here we are. "A Wave", the 11 song LP from Early Humans, set to drop on October 2nd. With all the isolation and anxiety during these strange and uncertain times, I'm thankful so many great bands continue to put out great music to help get us through it all. If the hook from "Tentacles" with its "Ohhhh ohh you've got me now, why won't you let me go" doesn't grab you instantly, I'm not sure what will. Looking forward to hearing this in full and posting some first impressions about the album. Pre-order this album immediately!
