BED has released their latest EP titled "Into Vastness" featuring 7 brand new tracks fusing melodic distortion fueled 90s inspired alt rock with some early/mid 2000s emo and pop punk sprinkled in. The new songs are by far their best and most aggressive yet, centered around big walls of guitars and a dreamy but heavy melodic alt rock/emo punk feel. Bands like Title Fight, Basement, Superheaven, and Narrow Head come to mind while also incorporating influences from bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Hum and the like. Based out of Antelope Valley CA, BED started out as a self titled solo project making indie rock. Over the years, the project has evolved into a 4 piece band with influences ranging from indie rock, to alt-rock, to melodic hardcore, producing a high energy sound that could be described as dreampunk, grungegaze, pop-punk, or just straight up alt-rock.
