Heavy alt-rock newcomers Chain (featuring members of Mom Jeans, Just Friends, and Graduating Life) will be self-releasing their debut full length record "No Spirit", on March 14, 2025. With that, the band has also released their crushing new single "No Power" from the forthcoming LP. Hailing from Fresno, California, Chain is a band rooted in friendship, raw energy, and a love for guitar fueled, melodic, and anthemic heavy alternative rock. Chain was created in 2024 by Bart Thompson, his friends, and fellow bandmates in Mom Jeans, Just Friends, ane Graduating Life. Driven by Bart’s songwriting, blending influences from 90s alternative rock icons like Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana, to melodic post-hardcore and grunge-punk of bands Title Fight and Superheaven, their sound is characterized by thunderous guitars, infectious melodies, and an undeniable punk rock spirit. Chain was formed with a simple goal: to have fun with his friends, create music that resonates, and play as many shows as possible. At its core, Chain’s music is about embracing authenticity and breaking through the glass walls of the world to discover yourself.
