Coup De Grâce

Recorded by Matt Squire (Panic! at the Disco, Ariana Grande, Sum 41, Taking Back Sunday) at Mixwave Studios, Coup De Grâce is an album in the truest sense of the word. Wholeheartedly ambitious, it’s a graphic novel in musical form that not only succeeds in creating its own deliciously dark, noir universe, but one whose characters truly inhabit the world that SeeYouSpaceCowboy have invented for them. In fact, listening to it is more akin to watching it all unfold onstage.

Over the past few years, SeeYouSpaceCowboy have carved out a niche for themselves within the post hardcore genre. They're a band that is continuously reinventing their sound and, in doing so, have drawn the attention of Pitchfork, Stereogum, Revolver, Brooklyn Vegan, Paste Magazine, and more.

Lead singles "Respite For A Tragic Tale (ft. iRis.EXE)" and "Silhouettes in Motion" are out now.

That’s partly due to the narration of Iris.EXE (who also appears on “Respite For A Tragic Tale”, a kind of intermission in the album’s middle), but also to the masterful execution of these songs.
