With their new LP, Outside seamlessly blend spacey and atmospheric layers often heard in bands like Hum, with melodic emotionally driven post hardcore similar to Title Fight, and just the right amount of agression, groove and meloncholy akin to Nothing, Deftones and Quicksand. The songs are heavy, passive aggressive, melodic, and hooky all at once. This 90s sounding shoegaze meets emo and post grunge revival is pushing out a lot of great new bands and releases, and Outside's "Green To You'' is definitely one to add to that list.
