​German gritty post-punk / melodic hardcore band Hippie Trim will unleash their new EP "Morbid Orbit", which will be released digitally and on limited edition vinyl via Supervillain on May 31st, 2024. The EP will contain 4 tracks, including 3 previously released tracks which can be streamed below. The band has also just released the latest single and music video for "Dog Days" which will appear on the forthcoming EP. “‘Dog Days’ is about leaving the past behind and starting a new chapter in life. Life often forces you to deal with different situations and the song tells the story of the moment you realize that things will never be the same again,” Hippie Trim comment.

Renowned for their distinctive sound, HIPPIE TRIM enlisted the expertise of Jon Markson (Durg Church, Drain, Soul Blind) and Adam Chichoki (Casey, Koyo, Like Pacific) for mixing and mastering, continuing a successful collaboration that began with their 2022 studio album, "What Consumes Me." Reflecting on their journey so far, HIPPIE TRIM's rise has been nothing short of meteoric. Following the success of their debut single "Supersonic," the band quickly gained momentum, selling out their first show and subsequently joining Drug Church on their German tour. Their debut album, "Cult," showcased a unique fusion of heaviness and melody, earning them acclaim from both fans and critics. Despite a brief hiatus due to the pandemic, HIPPIE TRIM returned with a vengeance in 2022, earning praise from international media outlets such as BrooklynVegan for their sophomore album, "What Consumes Me."
