Columbus' Minnows featuring former members of Six Gallery have just announced that they will release their debut LP, Foreign Moon, on March 22, 2024. With influences ranging from indie rock, power pop, post-hardcore, and emo; to alternative metal, shoegaze and indie folk, Foreign Moon offers a sound that is immediately familiar, yet entirely original. As musician and producer Jon Markson (Drug Church, Such Gold) puts it, “Minnows craft nuanced and groove-laden walls of guitars and vocals that evoke the best of the melodic peak of rock in the ‘90s and early aughts.” Minnows is Sean Gardner, Ben Schreiber, Adam Lowe, Philip Cogley, and Alex Weinhardt. The album was engineered by Sean Gardner at Bruising Speed, produced by Minnows, mixed by Markson and mastered by Dan Coutant at Sun Room Audio. The band have also shared their video for "Buried Needles," the fourth single from the album and lead off track from their debut LP.
