Glasgow emo band New Year Memorial will release their sophomore LP "Darker, Louder" on September 27th, 2028. The band describes itself as a bunch of past-it emo kids featuring past & present members of There Will Be Fireworks & Twin Atlantic amongst others. Their new LP was produced by Chris Gordon (Baby Chaos, Union of Knives) and combines the alternative indie / emo pop rock of the early 2000s for fans of Jimmy Eat World, Brand New, Idlewild along with bands that would have fit right in with the early 2000s rosters of The Militia Group and Tooth & Nail Records (Copeland, Mae, Sherwood, Acceptance, etc).
