Myrtle Beach, SC indie/emo rock band Tourneforte will release their sophomore LP titled "Notes from a Lost Dog" on February 16, 2024 via Acrobat Unstable. "Notes from a Lost Dog" was written between April and July 2021 amidst the pandemic and between the production of the first LP, "Swimming Lessons”. Initially comprising of 15 songs, the acoustic skeletons and early versions were taken to Matteo Debenedetti in Asbury Park, NJ, where they evolved into the full band’s vision and paired the final track listing down to 9 brand new songs. The record predominantly delves into themes of grappling with change, resisting complacency, and coming to terms with personal shortcomings. The result is an album of super catchy 5th wave emo revival /alt-rock pop that should please fans of bands like Pet Symmetry, Barely Civil, Charmer, and Oso Oso.
