Vancouver, BC post-punk band Schedule 1 have just announced their debut LP titled "Crucible" set for release on April 10th 2024 on Mendeku Diskak (Basque Country) and Council Records (Chicago). The first single and title track "Crucible" from the forthcoming LP is out now and can be streamed below. Schedule 1 deliver a hard-hitting, bittersweet, transatlantic sound, rooted in the rainy North. Having shared the stage with Komintern Sect (FR), Home Front (CA), and Radioactivity (US), this 4-piece will appeal to those in search of driving bass, angular leads and emotive melody. The LP follows their self titled EP (also streamable below) and will contain 10 brand new tracks. Like their previous work, the new single "Crucible" combines elements of guitar-centric high energy melodic punk and jangly post-punk, with traces of post-hardcore and emo-tinged / indie-pop melodies.
