The Never-Ending Year

'The Never-Ending Year' stands as one of Spartan Records most of awe-inspiring releases to date, and a record that will grow and evolve with each listen. Fans of Sigur Ros should enjoy this.

Spartan Records to release VAR's aptly titled The Never-Ending Year

Icelandic post-rockers Var's upcoming full length is definitely one I'm looking forward to. Their sound is reminiscent of bands like Sigur Ros but with more accessibilty and some pop structure as well. They remind me a lot of this band Immanu-El from Sweden that I'm a big fan of. Great signing for Spartan Records. Definitely check out the 2 singles "Moments" and "Run" for an idea of what to expect on this LP. Considering these uncertain and somewhat scary times we are in, the band's sound and album title couldn't be more appropriate. Be on the lookout for more from these guys...
