Chicago's melodic shoegaze alt-rocker's Sleepwalk have just announced the release of their 3rd LP titled "Underneath The Shade" set for release on April 30, 2021. "Underneath The Shade" follows their fantastic 2nd LP "Splatter" which showcased their knack for writing dark, melodic, fuzzed out alt-rock meets shoegaze songs that fit right alongside bands like Nothing and Narrow Head, along with that throwback 90s sound influenced by Smashing Pumpkins, Hum, Swervedriver and Catherine Wheel. Their latest single, the title track "Underneath The Shade" from the forthcoming LP follows in similar fashion, and if it's any indication of the forthcoming record, it's bound to be another stellar release from these guys.
