​Heavy alternative rock / shoegaze quartet With Glee from St. Louis, Missouri, consisting of Dillon Friedmeyer, Dietrich Plyler, Caleb Brown, and Zane Henderson, have just announced their debut LP titled "Neither Prayers Nor Demonstrations" set for release on May 10, 2024. The band formed in late 2020 and has been creating and playing original music all over the metro area ever since. Numerous EPs and singles have been released over the years, but with their new album getting ready to debut, the band is experimenting with newer sounds consisting of heavier tones, bigger melodies, and occasional screams, while interweaving sonic elements of 90s shoegaze, post-hardcore and grungy alt rock. The album was recorded at Reach Audio in Springfield, Missouri, by engineer Kevin Gates and consists of eight new tracks ranging from heavy walls of sound and screams to lush and atmospheric reverb vocals with melodic lines found in every area of the songs. The band gets its inspiration for the new songs from influential artists such as Nothing, Whirr, Narrow Head, Jesus Piece, and many more that came into play when writing the new LP.
