Oklahoma City slowcore band some fear, fronted by Branden “Bran” Palesano, will release their self-titled debut album on January 16, 2025 via Rite Field Records. The band's sound, as heard in their new single "Skin I Can’t Peel," evokes a melancholic atmosphere reminiscent of artists like Horse Jumper of Love, Teethe, and Milly.
New Jersey band High. is set to release their sophomore EP, "Come Back Down," via Kanine Records on January 24, 2025. Drawing inspiration from their personal experiences and musical influences, the EP offers a blend of shoegaze and dream pop noise, melodic hooks, and emotion akin to artists like Glare, Nothing, DIIV, and Trauma Ray.
L.S. Dunes, a Post-Hardcore/Alt-Rock supergroup, is set to release their sophomore LP "Violet" on January 31, 2025 via Fantasy Records. The album, produced by Will Yip, offers a different perspective on the band, featuring members from Circa Survive, My Chemical Romance, Thursday, and Coheed & Cambria, with a more expansive sound compared to their debut.
ASKYSOBLACK will unveil their debut LP "Touch Heaven" on January 31st, 2025 via NMZ, offering an emotionally rich experience blending heavy shoegaze, grunge, alternative rock, metal, and post-hardcore elements. The album explores themes of personal loss and heartache, with influences ranging from Deftones, Soul Blind, Moodring and the like. This is their best material to date and well worth checking out.
