The Manchester-based band Doves announced their sixth studio album, Constellations for the Lonely, set for release on February 28, 2025 via EMI North. The album follows their boundary-pushing, chart peaking fifth LP The Universal Want and will include 10 brand new songs including the single "Renegade" which is described as having a dystopian feel, with the band thinking about Manchester over the next century. The band began writing and recording the album in 2020 which contains 10 new tracks written, recorded, and produced in Greater Manchester, North Wales, and Cheshire.
