Entropy unveils new single and video for 'King of Rain' from upcoming album "Dharmakāya"
German shoegaze/alt-rockers ENTROPY unveil their latest single and video for 'King of Rain' from upcoming sophomore album "Dharmakāya." A fusion of anthemic alt-rock, post-hardcore, and shoegaze, "King of Rain" blends anthemic alternative rock with somber undertones urging resilience amidst adversity while acknowledging struggles. Its big chorus and jangly guitars evoke Creation Records' prime era akin to 90s greats Sugar, Teenage Fanclub and Oasis. Yet it resonates with contemporary bands like Anxious, Fiddlehead,, Narrow Head and Alvvays channeling Entropy's post-hardcore and shoegaze roots through forceful delivery and a wall-of-sound aesthetic.
