Gleemer share moody new single "The Body's Worth" from forthcoming LP

Gleemer have shared “The Body’s Worth” the second single from their forthcoming LP "End of the Nail" following opening track “Half Smile.” On “The Body’s Worth,” Gleemer have crafted a rich, melancholic, yet aggressive sound. Coffman’s distinct vocals pour out lyrics of isolation, emphasized by moody, layered guitars that build into soul-stirring rhythms. Diving deeper into the lyrics, Coffman states: “This song explores feelings on the outside of a concrete system of beliefs. How isolation can play into your views, and how it feels to be floating on the perimeter, grappling with what your value is as a person.” Stream the outstanding new single below.

Ft. Collins, Colorado alternative rock band Gleemer will release their new LP titled "End of the Nail" on December 6, 2024 via Other People Records. The album will contain 11 new tracks with the lead off single and album opener "Half Smile" now streaming. The album was recorded front to back by the band themselves, written, produced, mixed and mastered by singer / songwriter Corey Coffman and drummer Charile O'Neil. The new single expands on their already unique meloncholy and fuzzy take on shoegaze, slowcore and alternative rock, with layered guitars, Corey's soothing vocals, a wide sonic palette and melodic sensibility. There are hints of early Death Cab while also sounding like Balance and Composure along with many of the newer bands that Gleemer has clearly influenced. Gleemer always bring something a little different to the table then the rest of the pack, and if this single is any indication, the new LP should be another excellent addition to their already impressive catalog.
